Product Description

N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) plays a strong role in mucus dissolution by decomposing mucin complex and nucleic acid, changing the purulent components in sputum and other mucus and mucus secretions from viscous to thin. In addition, this product plays a direct antioxidant role through a free mercapto group (nucleophilic - SH) that can directly interact with the electrophilic oxidation group.
 

acetyl-L-cysteine can protect α- Antitrypsin (elastase inhibitor) is inactivated by hypochlorite (HOCl). Hypochloric acid is a strong oxidant produced by activating myeloperoxidase in phagocytes. These properties make this product particularly suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory infections characterized by thick mucus and viscous secretions.
