Product Description

Bitter Orange (scientific name: Citrus aurantium L.) is a small tree of Rutaceae and Citrus, with dense branches and leaves and many thorns. The leaves are dark green, thick, obovate, and narrow at the base. Racemes have few flowers, and flower buds are elliptic or nearly spherical. The fruit is round or oblate, the peel is slightly thick to very thick, difficult to peel, orange yellow to vermilion, the core is solid or semi full, the flesh tastes sour, sometimes bitter or with a special smell, and the seeds are many and large.
Bitter Orange is native to the south of the southern slope of the Qinling Mountains in China.
